Simple hostel in a quiet place. Clean bedding, nice living room and good wifi. They have a kitchen with dishes, the fridge is not so clean and toilets are "old”, but for 30000 for 2 people (double bed), it’s ok for one night. Private parking for a bike is available.
They have dorm beds as well.

I cannot recomment Emmys Place enough!
Her and her whole family made us feel so welcome and we had a lot of fun together. They all went out of their way to help us with anything we needed and gave good tips. She creates such a friendly environment within the hostel, introducing us to others right away and inviting us along for dinner.
A double room with shared bathrooms and breakfast for one is 25k a night, and there is also bigger ones for 35k with ensuit bathrooms.
Its located very close to everything by foot and Emmy also runs her own Safari company if youre interested.
It was a nice place to rest after long drives and packing out RTT constantly. They also made sure we could park out car on the compound. Very secure, fun and welcoming!

Owner changed, great place! Emmy is super helpfull, amazing person! She runs a safari tour also so she can help you with everything! She knows the town, some hike etc that is great

Report Check-InIndeed a nice hostel with lots of western travelers. Good showers and dorms. Paid 15000 pppn for a dorm room. Dorms are seperated by gender. Enought power plugs in the room. The house mari laundred my cycling stuff.
Report Check-InThe road leading to the hostel is an uneven a bit steep dirt so can be challenging for fully loaded two whhelers. The hostel is closed for a month for maintenance but Caroline was very kind to let me stay after seeing my weary face after the long ride from Mbeya. I paid Tcs15000 for dorm but got the whole hse to myself. Its about 10mins shortcut trail walk to town.
