no overnight parking. beautiful spot to hike.

Report Check-In

Not bad to sleep for one night. Noise started around 6h30am. Big parking lot.

Report Check-In

Nice spot to spend the night with a nice tiny park next to it. Flat area not at lot of mosquitos !

Report Check-In

Grand stationnement.

We didn't fit in the spot as marked due to the height of branches with our truck camper, but if you go just a bit south, maybe 20m there's another spot right off the road MacMillan Bloedel fs rd before the checkpoint. Was very quiet at night, and good to do a lap of the lake before sunset. Great spot for a night.

Report Check-In

We slept here for one night, it was quiet and we were not the only van here. At 5.30AM a guy started to make weird noises outside, did that for one hour and it was quiet again. We just didn't look out and didn't react to it.
Porterpottie is there at the entrance of the trail but smells bad. We left early to have breakfast and use bathrooms at the visitor center of Chemainus.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet little park. Little bit spooky pulling in at night but very peaceful and secluded for a "city" spot in the end. Quite a short space. 144 Sprinter fit well but anything larger would have to back up onto the slope at the end of the space

Report Check-In

We parked in the lot between the trail heads. Portapotti available. Decent cell reception. A lot of dog walkers late in the afternoon. Quiet overnight.

Report Check-In

Good spot, really quiet at night and no one bothered us in the mornings or evenings. We stayed for 3 nights.

Report Check-In

Great spot indeed. However, I've edited the description a bit since there is now a sign stating it's not allowed to: 1) park at either side of the road towards the pier 2) park in front of the boatlaunch and 3) park on the turnaround area(which was the location of the previous coördinates).

We parked inbetween the parkinglot and the road to the pier: there's a piece of land where you're able to park in between the trees and where you might be able to pitch a tent.
We were parked with one car behind the other and a campervan arrived later and had enough space to park beside us.

Report Check-In

great spot! quiet, portaloo, trail, lake

Report Check-In

Good place to stay for a night. Not far away from Hwy 1, but silent at night (except the frogs). There’s even a toilet.

Report Check-In

Small city park with fishing pier and dog trail, a few parking spots at the front and 2 spots closer towards the lake, was able to sneak my Toyota motorhome into the lakeside spots but wouldn't recommend it for larger trucks

Few locals out fishing but no one paid us any mind

No overnight parking signs
