We spent 3 nights in our own car. there is a restaurant with and outdated prices in he menú and not a lot of option. At least some cold drink ate available. A quiet place. The owner also allowed us to fill the water tank
- doble rooms with bathroom (toilet and hot shower inside) for 500 birr
- Camp in a green area in our own car 300 birr. If you ask the owner he will allow to take shower in one of the rooms

We parked our kar and trailer here for 500birr for 2 nights. Family of 5. Management asked that we change the price to ten dollars per person per night, which they think fair. please talk to them on rates. It is really what you negotiate. We got water for our system, cold beers for 35birr and the owner on day 2 opened a room for us to shower and use western toilet. We will highly recommend this as a place to stay. The Manager also arranged boat trips to monastries and taxi to town at fair rates. Use this place when in Bahir-Dar.

It's a very nice spot but decent rooms, hot shower and working toilet. The pricing is a bit sketchy, they asked for 500 birr for camping, and the room was 400 pppn. The next morning they asked for 200 birr extra, telling me they usually charge 500 for parking. Other than this, everything else was fine.

Great and quite place during the day and evening. Not too close yet not too far church and mosque might bother you if you wake up during the night.
It was a great oasis after a nightmare Couchsurfing experience the previous day. Probably the best 500 bir better spent in Ethiopia. The room are big and nice and comfortable. The shower is so nice and hot...especially if you haven’t showered in a week.
The WiFi router was outside my room but connectivity was not there.
Breakfast is included.
Restaurant has somehow fair prices. Plate of pasta is 50.

you can only pass the entrance with vehicle lower than 3,70m.
you can park in front of entrance, but public area and ask for the same fee.
Now they ask for 500birr. Not negotiable.

This is the real Agar lodge. The other location is the Abbay Minge lodge.
We stand in the Agar Lodge for 250 bir per night on a green parking lot. During the day some people will drink something in the bar next to your spot. Most of the time they are couples. In the night very quiet!
We could use the bathroom and they have very hot showers, almost too hot. There is no Wi-Fi.
