Wonderfully quiet and perfect for a night in the car. Can highly recommend!

stayed overnight here with nobody else. peaceful and quiet.
only several cars had passed by up until 11:00 p.m. and didn't hear another vehicle until 5:30 a.m.
8 hour parking is allowed.
I got in at 9:30pm and left at 5:30 a.m.
perfect spot to rest.
Quiet and clean so let's keep it that way.
I'll be using it again on my trips to the ocean from the Bay Area.

Very large, practically flat, parking lot surrounded by trees and a nice vista.

I’ve slept here two different nights. Quiet, flat, and cozy. Definitely gets busy in the morning. Weekends - expect to wake up to a full lot of people.

Spent a peaceful night here shared with one other van and woke to a beautiful sunrise. Was not bothered.

We stayed here one night, pretty quit but cars do seem to pull in the lot and park for a bit and then leave throughout the night. Someone knocked on our door around 11pm or so, we were fast asleep so they drove off before we could answer, think we saw a ranger car drive off, didn’t leave a ticket. Fine for a night if you need a place to sleep but it’s possible a ranger will kick you out.

Small parking lot off of skyline with picnic tables. Normally completely empty if you rolling after dark. Fills up around 7:30 AM with mountain bike riders.

Posted sign that you can park 8 hours at a time.

Quiet and level spot. Slept here for one night.
