stayed here in our van.arrived around 8pm and there was several spots open. there were specific spots for RV parking and Truck parking. Two security/patrol cars parked next to bathrooms and patrol officer seen walking around throughout the night and thru our departure @ 10am. Beautiful view east of Organ Mtns. Bathrooms were clean as were the covered pavilions. Close to Las Cruces. Great stop.

Report Check-InIncredible spot for a quick overnight while traveling. We parked in the RV spot that’s lit up and directly across from the restroom’s and the security guard’s car. Felt extremely safe and so nice facing bathrooms available 24/7. There a little out retired area and also a nice overlook of the city below. Full bars Verizon 5GUW that’s blazing fast and a bar or 2 of T-Mobile that was plenty fast enough to work on.
Report Check-InI've been here more than once. The setting in the hills outside the city is really nice but it's also sort of a problem. The locals use this as a place to hang and party sometimes. This last time I was there a pack of like 20 local kids showed up around 10pm. Many cars and a lot of noise.

Report Check-InWooonderfull spot with great views of Las Cruces. The spots are obliquely oriented by the cliff which allowed me to put my curtains only in the front and on 1 side of my SUV. Felt like a luxury hotel haha.
There was one wierd dude which parked rigjt by me and knocked once at 4am which spooked me a little so I went to sit on the drivers bench for a while. He then came back asking for help and I just told him I wasn't interested and to go ask security. I moved away a few spots and finished my night.
I think he actually had car problems as I saw him on the phone and his car, plated Texas, was still there in the morning, but nobody was there. Anyhow, I would've been of no help and there was security to help. I still would totally go back to this awesome spot.
This rest area has a safety guard 24/7 on the site. Feel secure for an overnight stay.
It was clean an even if there is a lot of trucks that come in te rest area, we had a good sleep.
There are reserved spots for RV.
I recommand this place for an overnight stay.

Report Check-InProbably the nicest rest area I've seen in the country. Well lit, yet no harsh lighting. Beautiful views of the mountains and city. The picnic areas are even lit at night! Full Verizon service. Some traffic in the lot, but the semis park in a different lot. clean bathrooms. the ground is full of sand spurs and no grass so it's not well suited for dogs.

This rest stop is quite far from the highway so is very quiet!

If you are heading west bound on I-10 you will need to go past the rest area) as it’s on the east bound side of the highway.) and do a quick turn around at the Picacho exit (# 135)
quiet and clean rest area. parked here one night. It's busy with semi-trailers, vans, and cars. great stop. good Verizon signal.
Report Check-InThis might well be the prettiest rest stop in the country. Beautiful views of the mountains and, at night, the twinkling lights of Las Cruces. The trucks are a pain though.
