Something not right?

Description

Nice spot on the river with friendly welcome and nice couple who run it but only the 2 riverside campsites are worth it. Self catering safari tents and houses (not sure of price) and if you want you can rent a small dome tent for kw75 with a mattress, table, chairs etc, plus kw150 pppn for camping so for us the best option without my trusted campervan which is getting fixed in Lusaka as everything was fully booked. Wood, ice and charcoal available and the pool can be used but campers can only use it from 10-12 and 15-17hrs. They mostly cater for the lodge guests but if you are self sufficient the river side campsites are nice!

Stayed at one of their riverside campsites for 3 nights. They have 3 campsites but only Otter and Hippo are at the river withe thecfacilities described by the last entry. There is a new owner now and she has given the lodge a new touch. As campers we felt really welcomed by her and her manager John. They even helped us getting our battery problem fixed. There is a camp attendant who makes the fire and even washes the dishes.
We don't know about the prices for the rooms, but camping is now 20US$ per person.
Good spot with nice staff.

Back at Wildtracks where the riverside campsite is perfect to enjoy some days of nature. Hot showers, firewood included and its lit for you, electricity at campsite and braai, fireplace for 150kw pppn. Unfortunately the pool and jetty is off limits when the lodge has guests and this place mostly caters for school groups so it can be a different feel from the peace and quietness with a bunch of kids around. Boat trips of 4hrs are kw600 which is a bargain if you can share with some others. No restaurant or bar so come prepared.
