Quiet spot within the boundaries of the Dixie Natl Forest. This spot serves as a lookout during the day, but makes for a nice quiet overnight spot. We pulled up in our 20ft van, slept, and left in the morning. Felt safe, vault toilets nearby. A little windy because of the location, but an incredible view. Would stay again on our way in to Capitol Reef.

Last minute choice as snow had shut some of the others.
Quiet night with great views
Report Check-Instopped here. was planning to head a bit further down hwy 12, however today it raining/hailing and don't need to worry about getting stuck
Report Check-InSlept here one night. Had no problem. Super quiet and had an amazing view in the morning. Also has pit toilets!
Report Check-InWhat a lovely spot! We stopped here to scope it out after sleeping in the National Forest a few miles south off Highway 12. All paved, which is nice as some of the forest roads in the area need high clearance to access. Decent pit toilets and a dumpster for trash. Gorgeous views!
Report Check-Inexcellent vista point. we stayed overnight in our 32 motorhome. Route 12 is very quiet overnight at this location
Report Check-InPulled in and slept quietly with an amazing view at sunset and sunrise. Saw 25 deer on way in so drive slowly and cautiously. Slept very level. 10/10.
Report Check-InAs described plus a great view. Toilets are in good shape as well.
Report Check-Inas described. flat paved lookout just off of highway 12. much cooler than Capitol reef sitting at 8600 ft just in case you don't want to sleep in the heat. 25 min away from West entrance. had a number of people come thru until about 9pm. trash and pit toilets available and has amazing views of the Henry Mountains. can get pretty windy as mentioned but little road noise as the parking lot sits behind a small hill. stayed 1 night.
