Cabelas has an area for truck and RV parking. there are "no overnight parking" signs posted but we called in advance and customer service told us we could stay overnight no problem.
Free potable water. Multiple taps located on south side of building (left side while driving towards building).
Dump station is also closed.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Slept to the rumble of 18 wheeler rigs. Nice pizza spot nearby sharing same parking lot.
Report Check-InCabelas Parking lot to the south of the store (left side when facing store). Pens for dogs and horses. Spaces for RVs and semis. Plenty of size options. Cars, RVs, trucks and Semis parked here - a dozen +
Report Check-InPosted”No Overnight Parking per town of Scarborough ordinance. Violators subject to fine.” Customer Service desk says it is okay for one night only, “Nobody will bother you.” Four rigs lot at 4pm.
Report Check-InNo overnight camping but asked if it was okay to stay and they said yes. We were around 15 RV and it was quiet ( only karen and bob who taught it was a good idea to use the generator all night long. Beside that it’s a goog place to park for the night.
Report Check-Inthere are "no overnight parking" signs but when I called and asked about RV parking, the customer service rep told me there was and told me to park in the RV and truck area. stayed one night with no issues. there are about 6 other slots, so not super loud unless Pam and Bob run their generator all night long.
Report Check-InOne night here betweenness the big trucks … It’s the only spot where their is no sign of no overnight parking. Not so nice and super noisy so… but ok for overnight.
Report Check-InGood place to stay overnight.
A lot of campers. Not to noisy even if it’s close from the highway.
Update: There is still no water and the dump station is also closed. The dump pipe is cracked. A Cabela's staff person told us there was a fine for using it and that it is closed.
Report Check-InFree potable water. Multiple taps located on South side of building (left side while driving towards building). One tap by dump station, one by each of the horse enclosures.
