We chose a nonhookup site in Deer campground, because a lot of the campgrounds here were closed for the season. We stayed in a 24 foot trailer. We backed quite a way into the site, and had to level side to side, but it was right on the St Lawrence River, in a small secluded cove, with a private beach to ourselves. There was even the added entertainment of a mink fishing off the cove. Bathrooms and showers are private, and free to use, but not adjustable, ( one of those push button types). Lots of grassy sites, some hookups nearby, but with no privacy, as usual. On a hot, mid eighties day, our site was shaded and cool. Highly recommend site 9, Deer. Price was $31.75, and well worth it!

Nicely spaced campsites. I chose 32 And no one is nearby. A rather narrow bridge to access the island and doesn’t appear to be much shopping or gas here. I think there’s a few restaurants.
Report Check-InBeautiful campground with very large beautiful lots! This is one of our favorite campgrounds. You can choose sunny locations, or sites that have shade. Most will fit a big rig.
