Good Spot for a night. Quiet until the workers came in the morning.
If you need public washrooms you can walk to the Dundarave beach (15 minutes walk).

Report Check-In

As described before. Very quiet. Only for one or two small vans. Roads are narrow here. Don’t come with big rig. We are 6 meters (19 ft) and it was hard to turn over. It will not be long before a No Parking sign will appear here but still no sign posted when we slept here.

Beautiful rocky beach
Small spot for 2 cars or 1 van
No problem for 1 night
In a rich neighborhood, close to a train tracks but none passed
The only thing is the workers of the houses close to who are noisy and park their cars at this spot in the morning at 7 am 😅

Really beautiful place. Nice beach and nice view. Really quiet and private. Small parking : 2 car or 1 RV. The only thing is that we were awake by workers early in the morning at 7AM. They were parking to go work on houses on the street near us. We recommend the place, we slept only 1 night.

Report Check-In

Quiet spot with a nice view of the waters. There were 2 other campervans when I stayed. Few cars and people passing by in the morning around 7am, otherwise all sounds from the sea.

Buen lugar para dormir. Tranquilo y silencioso. Estuvimos 1 noche. Nadie nos molestó.

Good place to sleep. Quiet and calm. We slept one night. No one bothered us.

Fantastic spot. Quiet and secluded wooded section of road in a rich neighborhood. There are steps down to a small rocky beach - it's a small park, no fires allowed.

As usual at nice iOverlander spots, there was some trash and TP around left by inconsiderate travellers before us, so we did a 5min trash pickup at the site before leaving and encourage you to do the same! Please help keep this spot beautiful, clean and accessible ☺

We stayed here last night, nice and quiet spot. We awoke to police in the morning who took our number plate. Apparently the neighborhood have reported vans parked here that have been dumping rubbish.
SHAME ON THOSE PEOPLE.
This was a great and beautiful spot. Fair enough that the houses have been complaining.

Report Check-In

we slept there for 2 nights. butiful beach downstair.
A résident didn't really appreciate that we use the parking and call the police. The police came to check 1h later and than when he saw that we were 2 ladies from QC Who coming for hiking and we were just there for sleeping, he told use good night.
The first night it had other camper and the second one we were alone.

Perfect spot for one van, ours is 22 feet. Quiet and safe street, view of the ocean with the sound of crashing waves. Could not ask for more!

Report Check-In

Really nice spot with place for two Vans. Neighbourhood seemed very safe and locals didn't say anything. They're probably used to people staying there. Like already mentioned there are stairs down to the water which is nice for when you brush your teeth.

Didn’t have any trouble stayin there with our minivan. Arrived at 9PM and left at 7AM. We stayed there because we didn’t have any other option. I would go there only when you don’t really have other options.

Report Check-In

Quiet place to sleep in a rich neighbourhood. No street lights, trees are keeping the place in the shade, although can be easily seen from the windows of a big house nearby.

Report Check-In

Perfect little spot in quiet and wealthy neighbourhood to stay for free close to the city. Space for 1 smaller and 1 bigger van or 3 cars, steps lead to a stone beach, but no facilities. Washrooms can be used in short driving distance at gas stations or parks.

Along Park Ln, there is a park called Altamont Beach Park. The park is between two houses with the railroad track on one side of Park Ln and the park on the other. On the side of Park Ln where the park is, there are two spots next to the road in a half circle shape. One spot is big enough for a large van but not big enough for motorhome. The other will only fit a minivan or regular sized car. If you arrive at night and park discreetly, you'll enjoy the peaceful silence of the residential neighbourhood with a good amount of darkness. However, since this is a rich neighbourhood, you'll find that in the morning, across the park there is a fairly large house with some fairly large windows that look directly onto this spot.

Report Check-In

Neighborhood is very wealthy, so many beautiful villas but people gave us weird looks when we were driving through the street so we decided to move on. Wouldn’t recommend it, it’s super small and there were a lot of people around who live there. Seemed like they don’t want anyone to be there.

Single spot for car or van....like you are in the woods. We were in 20ft campervan. Very quiet and felt very private even in the city. No RVs, truck campers or trailers. No amenities. Change of scenery from Dundarave Park, and no traffic/people walking around. Is next to train tracks, but anything on the water will be.
