Lovely free camp beside the Big Wood River. Vault toilet not far off hwy 75. Trees for shelter in the Sawtooth NRA.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Site 4 is a great place to catch the mountain views and relax. 0 bars on VZ but Starlink works great. I can hear the water from the campsite and some road noise but it’s not that bad (traffic is light).

Sites 1 and 6 are on the loops and have the most privacy. Site 4 has the prettiest view (IMO). The pit toilet had paper but needed to be cleaned. Almost any size rig or even multiple small rigs could fit in most spaces. Sites 3 and 5 are the smallest sites.
You can definitely hear noise from the road, but it's not horrible.
Nice clean campground. Free.
Sites are very spaced apart. No TMO cell.
Really beautiful spot, I'm surprised there have been no reviews since 2018. There are 6 designated sites here, each with a fire pit (but NO FIRES at this time!!) Free. One vault toilet. You can hear road noise but that's ok. We had the whole place to ourselves. Zero cell service. Pretty dusty but the beautiful area makes up for it. Nicely shaded, lots of trees.
