Description

Huge dirt lot away from the city. A police officer told us to come here, overnight parking/camping is allowed. Some people came here to shoot guns or ride their 4x4, but otherwise it was very quiet.

Latest Check-Ins

This is Warner Valley OHV staging area. Good road in, even when wet. Noise from motorcycles, side by sides; a good safe place to be.

Great free area suitable for rigs of all sizes. Large flat area with fantastic views of St. George & mountains. Tons of atv trails accessible from this location. Note ** this area is popular with people that like to come out and shoot guns so you’ll hear that often but it’s not a safety concern at all. St. George only minutes away, as is Hurricane and the Sand Hollow UTV riding area and state park. Strong cell signal

Report Check-In

Very large wide empty dirt lot down a very bumpy dirt road. Turned out to be extremely busy with off-roaders and large groups of teenagers gathering. The traffic did end by around midnight by the large group had returned by 6 AM with music playing so take your chance. It was really beautiful and secluded and quiet in between vehicles so we did enjoy your stay.

Arrived here on October 5, the four-wheel-drive staging area is no longer there, it has been replaced by civil Works equipment… Huge dump trucks in front and loaders, we drove around for about 15 minutes looking for any flat spot it didn’t look like it was under construction with no luck. Ended up leaving to the state line location about 12 minutes away. That location worked out great.

Lots of other camp spots if you venture down the road from the staging area for another 10 - 15 min toward Dinosaur track site. Also more spots if you go left from staging area. People were target shooting almost all day in the staging area.

pretty quiet and pretty flat and pretty close to St George.

Ok spot for one night. It was nice and quiet, we were the only one there. Some trash but not bad.
