lovely beachfront restaurant that let you camp on the beach in front.
Deysi and Salvador are super friendly and accommodating. let us camp for free and use the pool, the showers and facilities. in exchange we bough beer and and evening meal at night. seems only fair.
Deysi and Salvador organize clean ups on the beach and are keen to support the turtle protection program up the beach. both nights turtles came and laid eggs right by our camp.

Basic restaurant at the beach. Fish wasn’t good and expensive.... Kind people, but couldn’t really care less about our presence.

Report Check-InThis place was closed so we stayed at RESTAURANT EL KEVIN next door. We actually think that the grounds and facilities seemed better than Mar y Sol. Thought I'd made a new check in but hadn't saved...
We stayed for three nights we loved it, the family are lovely. We had a few beers everyday, basic stuff like plates of chips (fries) and one fish lunch all for 420 peso over the 4days/3 nights. Highly recommend the Lisa fish Al Vapor (mantequilla instead of mayonnaise lol) for 150mx. The family seemed happy with what we consumed as I explained we have supplies. I also checked in with them before leaving that other overlanders were welcome. It's a typical beach front palapa style restaurant, family run and the abuelitos (Isidrio) live on site with their son Alberto...
The pool is a good size with a kids pool and cleaned daily, shower and toilets. No wifi but KMs and KMs of beach and beautiful Pacific waves. Great stop off between big journeys. The beach was pretty much immaculate which feels rare just after rainy season along the Pacific (or in general). 20mx pp for use of the pool if not consuming... no mention of a camping charge. Grassy area to park on a slight slant with some shade if required.
