Description

Gravel parking lot right by the seaside, probably busy on the weekends. It is a trail head for part of the East Coast trail. We met several residents from the nearby houses in the morning who were friendly and polite.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed for the night in this beautiful spot! We weren't joined by other campers, a few passers by pulled in between 8 and 10 however moved on quickly.

Did some of the trailhead in the morning, some areas quite muddy given the rain.

The road up to the park is good and not bumpy at all.

Lovely oceanfront spot! Level gravel parking lot overlooking rocky shoreline. We parked our 25’ motorhome to the far left facing the ocean. Still room for visiting cars to turn around. Not appropriate for larger rigs or anyone towing. One other camper van joined us overnight.

Very Nice spot but for small van only, i would say. This is a parking trailhead.

As described. Only one car parked overnight. Great spot to see birds and according to a local whales on occasion. Loved listening to the waves at night.

Amazing area with a fantastic view! Only ones here tonight… no wind and love listening to the waves crash into shore! Will be doing hike at sunset tomorrow morning…

Area is fair sized. Could be hard to turn a trailer around. Easily maneuverable for our 27’ MH… assuming no cars or other rv blocking our way. Could easily back-up to end of road. 200-300 ft.

Garbage can available, no other amenities.

Un endroit près de l eau, mais un $%% De gros caravan prend la place de trois ...pas de classe..........

Nice place but à F.....big caravan is taking so much place.....Some have no class and they think the Word belong to them.....

Gravel lot at the end of a neighborhood road right on the water. Popular spot with locals and tourists to view birds on the island across the way and for the east coast trailhead. Trash can available and good internet. Heard the waves at night and had a beautiful view. Took a nice out and back hike on the trail in the woods along the seashore.

Report Check-In

We had a lovely night here parked less than 30 ft from the crashing waves.
A local photographer stopped by for a few chats and was very helpful in regards to info about Hurricane Larry which is expected to hit this coast around midnight. He was friendly.
We hiked out to Breakers Point and picked wild blueberries along the way.
There’s a garbage can here!
Leave no trace🙏

We loved this spot! Some friendly locals came by on ATVs and in cars. Beautiful spot for the sunrise, a walk along the coast, and great blueberry picking! There’s a laundromat not far away, just behind the grocery/deli/post office with picnic table & small beach (located on the main road).

Nice spot well away from the highway and no houses near by. Fairly level gravel lot and space for 1 or 2 small rigs or vans. Very popular with the locals for dog walking and watching the ocean and sunrise so must try to respect their space and leave room

Report Check-In

There's a full-sized excavator parked right across the end of the road. However, we easily fitted our 32' RV at the side of the road.

Report Check-In

Gravel carpark at the end of a small street. Wouldn’t recommend big rigs as turn around is tight. There’s enough space for 2-3 vans closely parked. We shared with one other camper. Right by the ocean so you can hear the waves crashing (very loudly). Quiet spot with a few people coming down to have a look. Lots of gannets from our bedroom window 😉

Referenced in Google Maps as Whale Watch Beach. At the end of Gallows Cove Road.
