Perfect gravel mostly level parking lot with 2 pit toilets. $5 honor pay system for the trail which is amazing! Quite night except for the crazy loud cicadas. My dog was alerted to a smell in the middle of the night. May have been a bear but couldn’t see. Parking lot not good for large rigs. Trail has dozens of tent camping spots. Highly recommended trail out and back.
Report Check-InVraiment un belle endroit près de la riviere hiking trail 2 nuit sans problèmes dukes trail à 5 minutes
Report Check-InStayed one night on a Friday night. A large group of teens were having a party till 1:30 am and had their parents pick them up at 3 am. Other than that, quite. Parking lot is fairly level but driving up the forest road might prove to leveler spots and less disturbance. $10 is required to be paid for two days of day use of this lot.
There are bathrooms.
Report Check-InStayed here for three nights while exploring the surrounding area. This trail is gorgeous with several waterfalls around the area. There were several other cars here each night from tent campers and backpackers camping down by the water. There are two pit toilets and two bear proof trash cans. We had a curious bear checking out the car late at night the third night. Other than that, very quiet and seemingly safe place to park.
Report Check-InPerfect lot for a 1 night stay. Would definitely stay here again. Arrived late and left early. There were a few cars parked by nearby tent campers. No service.
Report Check-InNice spot for the night. $5 day use fee (honor box). Great trails around for a hike. No Verizon cell service.
