For our first night in Uzbekistan we stumbled on this little patch. Very nice, right next to canal which we were assured by a local boy that it was ok to swim in. A few fisherman around but generally very very quiet. No traffic. There is a shed drop toilet near.

Not that lovely according to us, at least when you have a rooftop tent. Might be OK in a van or so. Right next to a road and not even 100 meters away from the main road. We moved on to found a quieter spot.
Report Check-InNot that nice. It’s right next to a street and a bit noisy, as cars pass by. The river is very dirty so not nice to go swimming. It was okay for one night, but there must be better places around.
Report Check-InDecent spot, it’s right next to big canal so great to cool off during hot days. A tree gives shade. Some traffic on the road, but generally quiet enough. We met a very friendly guy who invited us for an amazing lunch.
