GREAT spot! as other reviewers have stated, it's very convenient to amenities. I parked right next to the park entrance/bridge and walked my dog in the park then used the bathroom at the Davenport Water Park. They are open 24/7. Not sparkling clean but stocked and everything worked. Did laundry at the mat- wow. Has a coin operated shower which is beautiful. has its own toilet and sink. and the laundromat itself has a separate toilet and sink. In fact the sink is very deep and could easily be used to wash your little dog if needed! Highly recommend!
Report Check-InI just learned about this app. It was great to use and found this spot after a long day of driving. I was able to park close to the park entrance near the bathrooms. I set up for the night, and there were other cars there, but they left in the night. I felt very safe here. The bathrooms were okay. Only one stall had a door that would lock. I had rolled in about 8:15 pm and pulled out about 7 am. There was a little bit of traffic noise going up this road plus some kids taking and going by.
Report Check-InSweet little park with street parking along the side. Street was full when I arrived about 7:30 but cleared out in about an hour. Pool bathrooms open all night.
Report Check-InGreat little park! Quiet night. The bathrooms are open all night which is great. We could hear the little stream at the park flowing during the night. Very peaceful.
Report Check-InAs described. At first I was nervous being the only one parked next to the park in a small town, but I went with it.
Went to sleep, and when I woke there was another person who had showed up overnight.
There are bathrooms in the building at the park level. Doubt they were locked overnight. I used it about 8:30/9p.
I did work at the tables under the shelter. I had 2-3 ATT LTE. There were 4 power outlets near the meter. 3 were operable. Afterwards, I asked how much it was for the pool (upper level) and they said it was free.
I used the showers afterwards. However, there are no curtains on the shower stalls (women's bathroom). I suppose it's bc they're meant for you to use to only rinse off before/after the pool. I put my towel over the stall pole and did my thing.
There's a water filling station at the Safeway when coming into town from the west. $0.45/gallon. You fill up, then go to the cashier to pay for the # of gallons.
FYI: There are signs in the lots directly across from the park stating Free Public Parking after 5pm. Not sure what time that ends in the AM. There is also a laundromat that has showers on the corner.
Good overnight stay.
This spot was great to take a break for the night/day. We arrived by 8:30pm. One other traveler stayed for the night too. It was quiet next to the park. We did get awoken in the am by a man asking us to move our car 10 feet back. He needed to deposit trout into the small pond for their fishing derby. He apologized for disturbing us. I spoke to several people by the park area, all were so friendly.
The restrooms towards the right side of the park were open all night, which was a plus.
I utilized the laundry mats washers/dryers and their shower. All were very clean.
My daughter hopped in the community pool, no charge. Again, very clean and lifeguards on duty. Open 1-7.
Great place.
Perfectly as described! Great place for a stop over and a slow morning. Easy water fill up, shower, and laundry if you need.
Report Check-InNice spot on a quiet street in a quiet little town, with the park on one side and business offices and parking on the other. We arrived on a Monday evening in June and almost everything was closed, even the restaurant/bar. Subway was open and so was the grocery store (well stocked with everything).
Bathrooms at the bottom of the pool building were open all night, cold water only. You can hear the pool equipment running all night, but it isn't loud. Beautiful little park with 6 picnic tables on the grass and 6 more under a shelter. Good spot for 4 or 5 vans or pickup toppers, and maybe 2 more that aren't as level. Definitely not for pulled units or class A.
there were two of us with 2 cars parked here for a while in the day & at night. no issues what so ever & still no signage anywhere indicating no overnight parking. second time i’ve stopped here & had success.
Report Check-InGreat little oasis for overnight. Parked along side the town park. Very pleasant little town. Three other overnight vans. One block walk to public bathrooms. Bought a few groceries and morning espresso to support the locals.
Report Check-Innice place! we didn't spend the night there but we stopped for lunch and the park has a swimming pool... so we used it too. it's for free and really nice for hot thay with kids
Report Check-InNo signs explicitly allowing it but no one bothered us, even in a rented Cruise America RV (i.e. very obviously camping there). Laundry closes at 8pm, town park is nice to relax
Report Check-InEn plein centre-ville, collé sur le parc, juste à coté d'une super buanderie (on en avait tellement besoin) et en plus, bonus : dans la buanderie se trouve une immense douche (payante), on se paye la traite..
Report Check-InThis is a great spot! Bathrooms were open 24 hours and very clean and stocked. Quiet little town till around 8ish had some traffic.
