Quiet, Peaceful, was the only one in the parking lot. There's a lot at the top of the hill that other people stopped and parked in, but if you continue down the road to the actual historic park there are pit toilets. Rolled in at midnight, good spot to take a nap before you keep moving, much better than a rest area.
Report Check-InMarked as „day use only“… Just stayed there for dinner - the sheriff was there twice during that time.
Report Check-Ingreat camp spot! had the whole place to ourselves. toilets, level, very little noise, nice level road leading there from main road, and a nice interpretive trail to stretch out the legs in the morning. would definitely recommend
Report Check-InMinor car noise as it’s within a mile of freeway. Quiet otherwise. Flat. Clean.
Report Check-Instayed one night, would stay again. level, paved lot. got busy after 10am with ATVs and cars. two clean pit toilets. picnic table behind toilets. nice small hiking loop.
Report Check-InWe couldn’t to the actual parking site but there’s another parking area before it that is quiet and off the highway. A few guys on snowmobiles were parked there but left before dark. No running water or bathrooms available.
Report Check-Inthis area is DAY USE ONLY.
as far as i understand this means no overnight parking.
Followed the signs to the right down a twisting road with our travel trailer to a nice wide open parking lot with pit toilets. No one else around for the night. Nice spot with a 1/2 mile walking historic interpretive loop. I'd stay here again.
Report Check-InLarge parking surrounded by trees. Pit toilets, short hiking trail. Quite, we were in our van agony and slept soundly. One trailer showed up about 9pm.
