Jan 2024 update: the 30 amp on the pole closest to the community building does not work
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Really nice free place to stop, says please limit stay for 3 nights. 5 spots with full hookups, water, electric and sewer at each spot. Can fit a lot more rv’s there, just the only 5 with hookups. Make sire and go downtown and eat at Tiny’s Burger Spot. I had a breakfast burrito, you just tell them want you want on it. It was very delicious and worth the money. Really nice park close by with playground for kids and horseshoe pits. Bathrooms in the park but were locked when we were there.
Report Check-InI stayed here two nights with no problems. The first night it was just me and the second it was with an RV and car. I felt very safe both nights and it is nice that it is a bit off the main road so very quiet. The bathrooms are closed for the season but there is a library about a 5 minute walk that is open Tuesday-Friday. There isn’t much to do around town but it is a great spot for a rest! Also the pole closest to the community building, the 30 amp does not work on it.
Report Check-Infree rv camping up to 3 days. full hook up. enjoyed staying here one night. 4 out of 5 electric hookups work, the one on the far right doesn't. looks like a nice park nearby.
Report Check-InExactly as described, free rv campground with 5 spots, the one on the far right does not have electricity. otherwise, full hook up, free for up to 3 nights. we pulled in at night, there was one more rv already there. had a good night sleep, and woke up at 6 to local roosters singing, like in a village. Thank you for the city of Tatum for providing this desert oasis for travellers.
Report Check-InGreat spot, super quiet, access to tables and bathrooms. Super recommended especially if, like us, you physically crash before making it further to Roswell.
Report Check-InThis park is perfect for a overnighter or two. (Even three). Free electricity, water and dump. We were the only ones there, but still felt safe. 4-5 sites. Picnic table with grill and kids park across the way. Hidden gem!
Report Check-InStayed one night and didn’t notice any dog or traffic noise. Nearby park was great for our dog to run around. The bathrooms are very dirty with no toilet paper or soap. Toilets work, but no water from the sink faucets. There’s a Valero down the street that had clean, functioning bathrooms.
Report Check-Incamped here as I was passing through. the area is NOT well-lit which should not matter in an RV but i camp in a RTT. the area looks a little sketchy but it honestly wasn't bad. it is quite noisy from the highway and farm animals so ear plugs are recommended
Report Check-Infree campsites provided by town. rv electric. three night maximum stay.
Report Check-InFree Municipal camping area (gravel and older blacktop lot) with electricity. There were two campers here for the night.
No water, but there is sewer.
Bathrooms are about 200 yards away by the park. Not in very good condition (lights in men's room not working, toilet tank leaking water) or maintained (no toilet paper), but functional with cold water at sinks.
A fair amount of road noise from Hwy 380. The towns dogs were barking most of the night
Report Check-InNice little spot for a stopover. Didn’t trust the power point. No shade so good for solar. Right next to ball park and community center.
