Nice and quiet BC campground in the forest. pretty private sites. $35 per night. many sites, most of them are reservable, a few first come first serve sites. pretty busy in summer. free showers, sometimes warm, but they are mostly cold (had no issues with cold or warm showers on Sept19 - changed status to hot) just 16 km from Victoria.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great first camp in BC, hot showers, super clean, friendly ranger, $35 for site, $10 firewood, cool wee walks
Report Check-InThere are several double sites and one triple site open for the winter. $13/night no services besides pit toilets. It’s full on this Saturday night and all day cars come and go as it is a very busy recreation area for nature trails. Limited privacy, noisier than the Costco parking lot I stayed at last night. No starlink receptivity and 1 or 2 bars of service on Telus
Report Check-In$35 per night, staff comes around to collect (gate might be attended on weekends?). FCFS at this time of year. Lots of sites available during the week. Park staff said it was almost full on the weekend, but not quite. I was able to pay via credit card.
Dump station appears to be closed, not sure if that's temporary.
Good Google Fi service, streamable.
Nice Provincial campground. Short hike to Gold stream falls from campground. Hot showers. All in the trees.
Report Check-InDump Station fee is 5$ (you can change it at the office)
Very nice place not too far away from Victoria.
Nice hiking trails directly from the campground.
Massive camp ground with everything you need. - even warm showers (pro tip, keep pressing the button for a good 60sec and it will eventually run hot)!
Lots of Park Operators around and feels very commercial. Very dark and shaded campground. Would be nice in the summer I'm sure. $35 per night.
nice BC park campground in the forest. Hot Showers and flushable toilets. Spot are pretty big and offer privacy. $35/night. lot of hiking trails.
Report Check-Inca coûte 35$ par nuit affichait complet sur internet mais rendu sur place plusieurs places disponibles
Report Check-Incoûte 35$ la nuit plusieurs places même si indiqué complet sur internet très bien
Report Check-InWe love BC parks !!!
Nice campgroung, beautiful rainforest
Nice free showers
28$ rustic site
Fire permited
Really great campground! Looked on BCParks first which showed it being fully booked but turned up anyway and they keep a few sites available for first in first served. Dump station and potable water. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!
Report Check-InLovely campsite hidden away close to Langford. Beautiful forest, good sized pitches. Basic amenities, but more than enough.
Report Check-InOpened for winter season, 13$ per night but only 12 sites, get there “early”!
Report Check-InNice campground in the forest with plenty of trails nearby. We stayed two nights at different sites. Very family friendly. Showers were free but the water ranged from warm to chilly...could've been worse! Both pit and flush toilets.
Report Check-InStayed here 3 nights, we booked online so it was $41 per night for an Unserviced site ($35+$6 booking fee per night). Great walks out of the area and the waterfall is great and you can have a swim there too. The showers are free however you need to push the button in every 20 seconds to keep the lukewarm water going. Very annoying. The place is great as it’s only a 20-30 minute drive into downtown Victoria, depending on roadworks and construction.
Report Check-InBeautiful campground. Has a playground for kids, kid bike track, and lots of trails in the area. Sites are leveled and covered with rock where the vehicle parks. Tent sites have tent pad. Lots of nature and vegetation.
Report Check-InThis is a beautiful campground. Large spacious flat gravel sites with beautiful tall trees, clean flush toilets, spotless. We didn’t look at the showers assuming they’re still cold. Opposite the entrance to the park is the Coldstream Inn, a 100 year old pub. $35/night.
Report Check-InNice campground. It's expensive (what you expected being in Victoria during high season) but worth it. 20 easy minutes into town, good toilets and no problem with cold showers. both my wife and I had good hot showers so changing the status.
Report Check-InNice campground with private spots. Great walks and Nice sounds of the waterfalls
Report Check-InNice campground in the dense rainforest of Vancouver Island close to Victoria. Big gravel sites, very private, clean, quiet. Dump station and showers are available. Two nice waterfalls in the park: Goldstream Falls near the campground and Niagara Falls a few km north.
Report Check-InGather we got to salute the government, we looked for a way to pay - and no one came to collect money as we was told.
The two different shower locations we tried had both cold water, so am going to change the status to cold water.
Bathrooms was clean, so was the long drops.
Beautiful forest sites.
With lots of hiking trails around.
