Description
Forest lodge and campsite with good mountain view. We paid $10/12,000rwf for 2 people and our car. Camping in the gravel carpark but it was nice enough. They gave us access to a room for a hot shower.
I think you can also rent their tents but I don't know the price.

There are no signs to this place. We followed signs to Silverback lodge and then continued pass for about 2km to find it.
We didn't eat here but friends told us the food comes from Kinigi and takes 30mins to arrive cold!
There is also the La Paillotte Gorilla place (hotel) in Kinigi. You can ask for prices and pre-order food there..

This place is still closed and probably never opening again. Some local boys got in contact with the manger (currently working at another lodge that the same owner owns). He sent a motorbike guy with keys for the bathroom for us. We parked in the parking lot for free and used the bathroom and fire place
Report Check-InThis place is officially closed but you're allowed to camp at the parking lot and make use of toilets and showers. Price is to be discussed with the caretaker (we paid 15,000 RWF for 2 people 1 rooftop tent). Caretaker Sauveur is great young boy who is really willing to make you comfortable. He made us a fire at the traditional fireplace, bought electricity to make sure the shower would be very hot and he made us delicious chapatis (he loves cooking and is actually studying on a cook school). Road is rocky to get here and you cannot go to the National Park headquarters with a shortcut because it is very bad road. You must pass through Kinigi village again. Great Mobile internet with MTN and Airtel.

The room they open is very nice, we sleept in our car and the price was very fair.
OK place we paid 10000 Rfr pppn to camp in our car in parking lot. Please not it is very cold here even in day time. Very quite and peaceful. Use one of the room for toilet and bath.
Report Check-Invery friendly staff. paid 10k for a private room. friend's Unimog (~3m?) did not fit through gate, but could camp/park in the driveway for no cost.
