Overnight is permitted. Place is open, but not very quiet anymore.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
beside water roadside parking. 2hrs from 9am to 6pm but nothing about overnight so I parked along the side
Report Check-InStayed here for 2 nights. During the night it was quiet, just in the morning the construction started early. But a great view on Vancouver
Report Check-Ingreat to spend the night. parked just further the bridge so car noise is not bad at all, lots of shade, no facility
Report Check-InGreat views, but terrible sleep. Cars were racing all night. Good for a last-minute spot, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Report Check-InBeautiful view at the skyline if no large ships were blocking it. Very popular by locals till late (some kids firing fire works at night and speeding cars). Very loud in the morning due to a building side. Okay for a night but pack your earplugs.
Report Check-InAmazing place to stay the night before returning our Canadream rental van! Lots of easy parking for cars, vans or RVs.
BEAUTIFUL skyline views! Free overnight parking was quiet. Picnic benches with a view too!!
Report Check-InGood spot right at the harbour side, with views to the harbour and city. Popular with locals, but fairly quiet on a week day. Park at the 9am - 6pm 2 hours sign.
Report Check-InBeautiful view by the river, not too noisy but still a reasonable amount of pedestrian traffic. Make sure to park in the correct spots and not the 2 hour max parking, otherwise it was easy for us to find a spot for our car and trailer
Report Check-Ingood for a night or two, lots of locals coming over to visit nearby dog park. great views, some kids burning tires at night. industrial area, massive construction ongoing nearby.
Report Check-InWas here for two nights. As previous posts mention locals around late, loud music and what not but good enough place to park for the night with great views of the city.
Wasn’t bothered by the noise personally but I can see how some would.
Both nights I had van dwelling neighbours.
Strongly recommend Nomad Coffee in the area about a 4 minute drive up the street.
Report Check-InStayed here one night. Over night parking is definitiv possible here. Nice view, but unfortunately a few locals hanging around with loud music till late.
Report Check-InParked here after a concert in town. There were a few cars coming and going at first, but we had a fairly peaceful sleep. Wonderful view in the morning! Thomas Haas is nearby if you want a fab croissant and coffee.
Report Check-InOvernight parking is definitely doable here. Just check the signs as mentioned in previous posts. Side parking 2 hrs from 9 am - 6 pm, parking spots 4 hrs Form 7 am - 7 pm.
We already stayed here 2 nights at the beginnig of july and it was really quiet. Today was a bit noisy with lots of people around till late and the construction close.
Police came by in the middle of the night and stayed for a while but no knock, ticket or anything. Maybe they just enjoyed the view of vancouver skyline which is really great at this spot.
Little park and pit toilet in walking distance.
Good spot. Park where the signs say and you'll have no issues. Moderate noise, fine whilst sleeping
Report Check-InBusy place, many people, fantastic view. Parking around the block is now limited for 4hrs at all times. Right at the water for 2hrs between 7am-7pm / 9am-6pm - parked overnight, slept in my SUV, no issues. Pit toilet in the corner, picnic tables on the shore. There are still many vans parked around the block for many days already, police drove around at 10pm. Seems like no one enforces the parking limits. According to the signs around looks like construction work in the block is soon about to start though...
Report Check-InThe City has changed the parking restrictions and recently posted new signs. 4 hour parking only now.
The rumor is that there were too many vehicles parking in that area and it was affecting businesses.
Report Check-InGreat spot with a awesome view! Stayed for several nights. Perfect spot. Never had problems. Totally recommend it!
Report Check-InLots of other RV’s and Vans parked for the night. It felt safe and had a beautiful waterside view of the city. Lots of street parking in the evening.
I came in at midnight and left at 8am. In the morning the parking spaces fill up quickly with lots of surrounding buildings.
It is on a waking/running trail and there is an enclosed proper dog park just steps away next to sand volleyball courts.
I’m not entirely sure if overnight sleep parking is allowed but nobody bothered me so I’m happy! Better than a Walmart parking lot.
Report Check-InAwesome spot! We found a park in the 7am-7pm spot no problem just after 7pm. Spent the night looking out over Vancouver city. Very quiet and no hassles from anyone. There are plenty of spots in the area, loads of RVs parked up around. Would recommend over the streets near Walmart.
Report Check-InGuys, what do you expect!?!
Can’t understand the other comments.
This place is pretty nice, you have the best view of the city and the night is very quiet!
Even a pit toilette and a place to sit to enjoy the view or you meal. All for free, just amazing!
Report Check-InNot the nicest place to stay a night, but defintely better than any WalMart and one of the nicest views so far.
Report Check-InAll good. Best spots are in the park area, but after 6pm. Rode bikes into the city, there are bike paths all the way, just need to find them!
Report Check-InStellar spot, as described! We stayed for 3 nights. There is a fantastic walking/cycling path called the Spirit Trail which takes you along the marina to the Lonsdale Quay ferry terminal.
Report Check-InAs described. Big area next to the sea and facing Vancouver city, the views are fantastic. We stayed here for 3 nights and every night there were around 10-15 rigs spending the night here. Parking is free, unlimited time depending on where you park (some spots are 2h only, starting at 7 or 9 am, finishing at 6pm). Very calm and quiet enough for being on the street, it seemed quite nicer than the nearby Walmart. Convinient if you have a dog. There is a construction style pit toilet in the South East end of the U shaped parking. We met a Law Inforcement officer and she told us that it's ok to stay here for 72 hours (unless you have an RV, our truck camper did not count as one), and that some neighbours complain, so as mentioned before, it's a good idea to move around. We saw an RV being towed away a little bit after our chat with the officer.
Report Check-Inwe stayed here for 3 nights, just read the signs to see where you cannot park. it's a very quiet area, easy to find place after 6pm. you park on the street. it's located in front of the sea with an amazing view to Vancouver. You can go to the city or Stanley park with 240 bus at 800m from this place in about 40min. people recommended us to move every 24hs (due to local regulations it is supposed you can park your RV only for 24hs). There is a public toilet and we used water from the dog park 100m from there. we were on 23' class C motorhome.
