As described before, a really great place to park with a rooftop tent. We had a nice chat with some goat herders (unfortunately we don’t speak Quechua, but they understood some Spanish). Even though they looked extremely poor, they were very concerned that we would starve and forced fresh oranges on us.
Otherwise it was very quiet! The view is amazing!
Nice place to spend the night. There is a small nook on the left so they you can partially hide your vehicle from the road side. Some people do walk on the nearby path, but they don’t mind you park there. Nice sunset.
Report Check-InLarge area still available. We parked on the back so were completely hidden from the road. Cats were happy. The little traffic from the highway stops around 7pm so we had a good night sleep.
Report Check-InCoincidentally just pulled onto this area so our baby could have a lay down. Noticed it is already marked. Very large spot. Lots of flat areas and can get out of sight of the road in the corner. I track also leads somewhere but I didn't follow it. Good option for a quiet night I expect, although we just stopped for a hour and moved on.
