Definitely in my top 3 from Quebec to Nova Scotia. Beautifull sunrise this morning on the sound of the waves.

Beautiful sleep right by the ocean. Lots of places to choose from. Had the whole place to our selves

Super tranquille. À 10 pieds du bord de l’eau avec les vagues qui m’ont bercé toute la nuit. Anciennement Piper’s Campground. Dormi ici en 2007.

stayed 2 nights here without an issue. First night there were 4 others, second night, no one. we spoke with the owner of the land, Jim, he was great and didn't mind us being there as long as we didn't make a mess, which we never do. he plans to turn it into a proper campsite again next year. we'll be back to pay for a spot for sure as it is an incredible place.

Did not stay over night but this will definitely be put on the list of future boondocking adventures. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful, quiet and no one bothered us. Gravel ground, good size lot for a 40 ft coach. Be careful and watch for electrical outlet posts sticking out the ground about 2 1/2 ft. There is a very long winding beach of rocks and sand. If you visit respect the property and don’t litter.

Report Check-In

Lots of available space for multiple campers. nice level spots.

Report Check-In

This really is a sweet little spot. We had a prime view of the water and it definitely used to be an old campground, so lots of parking spots. The property owner, Jim, actually showed up while we were and told us that he has plans to turn this back into rv camping. For now, though, he said that we were welcome to stay and camp. All he asks is that we clean up after ourselves and leave no trace, which is more than fair.

Nice abandoned campground (don’t know why). We came in late but it was worth the wait. There was already 3 other campers when we arrived but quiet spot.

Report Check-In

Camped while raining and a tarp set-up. A quiet spot for one night. Woke up with lobster boats on the shore. Will come back again if possible.

A beautiful abandoned campground on a rocky beach; had a great pizza place across the road. I went for a walk in the woods to the right, and found a small trail which included a makeshift toilet, (of which I did not partake, haha). I only stayed at the site one night, but other than some electrical hum coming from the highway direction, it was a relatively quiet night.

This spot was fantastic to wake up to . Needed a place to stay later in the evening and found this it’s been kept clean , still no development here and no issues staying no one come to say anything . Only stayed the one night .

What a treat of a view for the sunrise

Great place, very quiet was the only one there. Only 1 truck came during the night. Almost no bugs and right by the ocean. Nice pebbles beach great for kayakers.

One of my favorite spots yet. Wild blueberries, wonderful bird watching, off leash walks for the pupper. Spoke with the owner of the art gallery nearby and the land has been purchased, so this may be the last year it’s available.

Report Check-In

This property has been sold and may be developed. There was camping when I was here, but locals say it will be developed. Keep it clean. There was burning trash when I arrived.

Report Check-In

This property has been sold. I could still camp here, but that may change in the future. The t is private land.

Nice place to spend the night while traveling the cabot trail! Lots of other campers but quite at night

Stayed here two nights , very nice and quiet. You can have a fire, no probs. Space for a few large campers. There is a gallery out on the highway the owner has lots of local information on the trail and area.

Report Check-In

Great location right off hi-way and on ocean. There were 4 other campers besides us. Lots of room. Spoke with local who told us campground store burnt down a number of years ago now. Remaining buildings have been vandalized but campground has been left clean by visitors.

This is a truly great spot for overnight camping. Nice view and very quiet. There is a picnic table and some serious mosquitos in july ;-) Please keep the place clean for all to enjoy.

A beautiful spot 100 ft from the ocean. Plenty if space for the dogs to run and play too!

Report Check-In

Really nice spot, hidden from the road.
plenty of space for tents and car.
no one else was there when we stayed.

As described by others, old camp ground on the beach. Quite odd in a way but fine none the less.
Big rig friendly

We spoke to the neighbouring art gallery owners and they said it just sold, so I'm not sure how long this gem will last. (may 2019 now)

Report Check-In

Excellent overnight stop. An old closed down R.V. park far enough from the road to be totally quiet. Right on the water so you can hear the waves rolling in. We had a campfire too.
