Nice forest service campground right on the lake. Has bathrooms, showers, and water. Also has small beach access to the water. $20 per site
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
You must reserve a site online (recreation.gov) or by calling 877-444-6777. We showed up without a reservation and the camp host was rather surly about it. There is minimal cell phone service on ATT so we had to drive a few minutes up the road. We were able to book a same day site without any problems because the campground was dead. It appears all sites are dry and cost $22. All sites have obstructed view of the lake due to trees. Potable water, dish washing sinks, dump, garbage, and free hot showers available. Small swim beach and boat ramp also.
Report Check-InAwesome campground right on the lake. Great little beach to swim in and perfect amount of shade for this unprecedented heat wave. Just a few minutes into town for great restaurants and groceries!
Report Check-InVery nice campground on a big, beautiful lake. Clean bathrooms, showers, sandy swimming beach and concrete boat launch. Campsites are very close together but still a great place to camp and enjoy the lake.
