Price is 90pppn, total bargain for the area and the cheapest accomodation we've found, staff are lovely, ablutions are clean and functional. Sadly the deck for the waterhole has fallen apart (termites), but you can just as easy take your camping chair there the sit Infront of the waterhole.

We were warmly welcomed by the really nice owner and his wife. They have a really cute dog, clean ablutions and good Wifi. All was really nice and for 80 pula totally fine, but we were a bit disappointed, as there was no water in the waterwhole (normally they pump it full) and the pool was not really clean. Also the chill area could be cleaned somehow, but we think it is because of the low season.

So happy that Tilodi is up and running again. Definitely my favorite campsite in Kasane. Very warm and helpful staff. Still 80 Pula p/p. Thats a bargain. Heard lion and Heyanas at night.

We initially had trouble finding the place as a lot of the signs were blown down in a storm. They have now put some of them back up. Just in case you need to contact James's Whatsapp is +26776039818. We travel 2 up on a motorcycle, the sand track was manageable. Camped in our ground tent in the corner on the concrete slab as there were some ants at the time, they also provided ant killer to use. Nice pool and sofas to chill. Lovely powerful and warm shower. We went on a morning game drive to chobe NP (total 200 pula pp plus NP entrance fee) at 9 am with another family (they have slots at 6, 9, 12 and 3pm dependent on spaces) but still saw a lot of animals including lions. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. James and his team are very friendly and helpful. They're doing a great job and reopening and re-establishing this place. We would reccommend staying and supporting a local business. Camping still 80 pula pppn :)

I can confirm full functionality now. Flat sandy sites, good ablutions with (very, sometimes too much) hot water. Price 80 BWP per person which is a steal in this location. James and his wife is a nice couple. I always prefer to support local people who are providing good service. They have also self catering rooms with kit henette and shower for 500 BWP and dormitory for 150 BWP. Their offer also competitively priced safari activities as Chobe boat trip (200 BWP), night drive on Hunters road with driver and spotter (200 BWP) and tiger fishing (1400 BWP per boat, 3 hours). Victoria daytrip for 400 BWP is not bad either. I will definitively try some of these activities during my next visit.

We passed by going to Senyati and the place is abandonned.

Report Check-In

Very run down. They said the elephants destroyed everything, but we think that's only part of the story. It must once have been a very nice place. The pool was very filthy, the look out point was a muddy pool, the toilets were full of mosquitoes (even if it's not the mozzie season now). The outdoor shower was surprisingly nice. After our stay they wanted to refund us, because of the state of the camping and we accepted half.

Report Check-In

Stayed here after Senyati stuffed up our booking. Run down campsite ground, little shade, filthy swimming pool, wifi was not working. Hot water, ablutions ok. There is a small waterhole with viewing deck. Not great overall but 60 pula pppn.

Nice description but it would be very informative if you would mention the prices...

Saw leopard drink water and elephant, giraffe, warthog, impalas and jackal. Heard lions and hyenas. Hot showers and small gym. Very good food. Highly recommend.
