Something not right?

Description

Really well maintained campsite lake/river access. Day use is $9 and you have to pay that even if you camp overnight (which is a little odd). Campsite fees: $22 walk-in tent site (no car), $24 basic site (water & electric), $28 full hookups and sewer. Has very clean showers and LAUNDRY (both are coin-op). Convenient right off highway but not too loud. Site #30 is where we stayed and had some nice shade midday. Highly recommended.

Very nice place as all the other campers said. Price update. Full service site $41 and $10 admission fee. Pricey for us for a place to sleep. We didn’t use electricity water or sewage.

Beautiful spots by the resevoiir, nice paved trails into town (Fruita is cute!). Spots level, paved, with gravel spots and fire pits, metal shelters. Grass is lovely for the dogs too! No shelter if wind in forecast, be warned!

Report Check-In

Nice showers and bathrooms, and really attentive hosts who tend the sites. Lots of road noise and light pollution from the nearby businesses and roads. RV sites are away from the river.

Really nice campground right on the river! This is the Fruita section of the park. Covered picnic table area and wheelbarrows to carry your tent stuff from the parking lot. You have to reserve a site on the CO Parks and wildlife website and it was 22$ in addition to the 9$ CO park vehicle permit.
