Description
Cops stopped us when we were leaving Irupana. Very cold until we told them we were not Chileans despite the car's plate. Then very friendly! Asked for driving license, passport and immigration document. They told us not to stop for anybody unless it is a cop. Apparently some people have been robbed. So if you drive in the region, only stop for cops with a yellow shortleeves jacket

Passed through Irupana today but didn't go through the police check, went around it instead as usual. Much easier!
