Parking lot for small boats at the end of a gravel road, where some people fish. easy to reach. Next to the lake. beautiful view and really quiet.
No "no overnight parking" sign. We saw National Park's guards and they said it was okay.

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice little harbor with a gravel road leading to it. It’s a couple of minutes from the highway but straight at the water, which is used for fishing. There are several old boats at the bay from which you can witness the prettiest sunsets and I’m almost certain you could go for a nice swim as well.
Heard that there is fresh water in the white tank but I didn’t try.
Also, there’s a train passing by every now and then but it wasn’t distrusting at all and I could hear it maybe three times in over 12h. The spot is big enough for plenty of cars and all kinds of campers. For it being a little hidden it was fairly busy during the day as a few cars pulled up but none stayed the night. There are no bathrooms close but the service was good at any time.
Very quiet place, interesting to be beside relic boats.
Nice to be next to the lake.
I missed the turn near the bridge, but I like this better.
the road is easy and only a short drive from highway

We had to leave at 2am, mosquitoes were able to access inside the RV through the air conditioning pipes. Beautiful place though, we couldn’t handled the mosquitoes situation.
Report Check-InWe were here in a Saturday night and a group of young men had loud music for a couple of hours. In the morning also some fishermen were there. We had another mosquito massacre to fight, as the wetlands seem to be birthplace to millions of tiny mosquitoes here. We saw only grown ones at night though.
Otherwise cute and nice - 3/5
Report Check-Inquite enough spot. lots of birds. pretty cold at night being so close to the water. when the train came by the ground shifted like like an earthquake for probably a good 2 minutes. that was pretty surreal. decent cell signal and beautiful moonrise. plenty of room for more than one rig, but I'm glad I had it to myself other than an occasional visitor.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Beautiful views of the cove with a few old rusted boats up on dry dock. Arrived on a Friday afternoon and stayed the night. Number of locals would come fill up their water containers at the filling station and the odd train came by periodically but other than that, pretty quiet.
Report Check-InVery secluded and parked amongst old boats in a shipyard. Government of Canada dock. Camped for the night. Mosquitoes! Stayed inside.
Report Check-InSo beautiful place, calm, quiet, with a poetic mood. A lot of Space for several campers/RV/trailers. No toilet, no bin, so keep your garbage with you.
Super great until the sunset… after, when the night is here the mosquitos army attacks you ! It’s not a few disturbing mosquitos… no, it’s an invasion, i never seen that before… so stay inside!
Great place with these old ships. You can hear a little the highway and the train.
But, the misquotes are horrible. This night was something like a nightmare. Even in our camper we had hundreds of these and sleeping well wasn't impossible.
Report Check-InSweet spot on water & so interesting seeing all these old fishing boats in the parking lot. Note....make sure you don't park in front off the water pump & filling area from 7am till 7pm.
Report Check-InStayed the night. No issues. Quiet and pretty spot. Mosquitoes real bad as very close to water. Lots of room for big rigs.
Report Check-InQuiet place between old boats and the lake; you can see a lot of different birds, and the place is very peaceful.
There’s also a water tank.
I would totally recommend it if it was not infested by moskitoes ! They turned our night into nightmare…
do not park parallel to the river, many fishermen park there at 90 degrees
Report Check-Innice place, quiet and calm but at the sunset be prepare to moscitos.
Nice old boat to see
The boat graveyard/hospital is a treat. Saw two bald eagles and gorgeous sunset on the shore. Plenty of bugs too. Shared with three other overlanders but plenty of space.
Report Check-Inabsolutely beautiful spot. Saw a mama moose and calf on the dirt access road in. The cove is a bird paradise, saw pelicans, herons, tons of ducks and gulls, and a beaver. A few people fishing in the eve and morning but had it all to myself for the night. 5 star view!!!
Report Check-InI have to thank everyone for writing a review here. Cause this truly is one of the best places I have stayed at in the last couple of months boondocking.
The tranquility, the lake, the ducks and the awesome abandoned boats setting a wonderful scene here.
We had no mosquitoes due to the weather. But I would suggest looking into the Thermacell Backpacker Mosquito Repeller it has been god sent, we've been in some places where even the dogs wanted to get out of here start this thing up 10 min later forcefield up hahaha
Report Check-InReally loved our night in this camp
Very calm
The view on sunrise and sunset was amazing
Everything people have said is true in my opinion. Except I don’t find the ships creepy haha
Report Check-InThis was such an amazing camp spot! We even saw a freakin rainbow.
Report Check-InTotally loved this place, so cool the big old boats ashore here. Caught some nice pike from the docks. Black water hose where the tanks are has pure fresh spring water. Filled the camper. Amazing video I put on Instagram and YouTube of my stay here. Saw the Bald Eagle and a White Pelican. Too cool.
Report Check-Inquiet place, arrived at dusk to one other vehicle here. Two more showed in the evening. lots of mosquitos. We felt safe here in our 23 foot motorhome.
Report Check-In2 recent conflicting reports, so we checked this place out. As described, some locals fishing. Good road in, and lots of place to park. We looked all over for a 'no overnight parking' sign, and couldn't see one anywhere, so we stayed the night.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot at night. Train nearby but heard it only twice, at 11pm and 4-5 am.
Pack in pack out, please. This is what makes those spots still available.
No "No Overnight" sign.
Spoke to a local, explained us that the owners are ok with overnight stay but ask to not climb in the boats for insurances liabilities.
One of the best free campsites in ON. A bit of a pain to get to (don’t go to the actual conservation area - follow these coordinates), you have to turn at the fisheries and ocean sign and cross the tracks then take the road all the way to the end.
Locals stopping by here and there to fish and watch the sunset. Lots of wildlife (beavers bald eagles, fish etc), bring your bug spray!
Please please please pick up and pack out a bag of trash each overnight. Yes it’s probably the locals making the mess, but the RV community will get blamed for it and they’ll start putting up signs. There are no garbage receptacles here, which is part of the problem, so let’s help out and dispose of the waste one bag at a time 💚
Report Check-InThis is nice hidden little spot. It was rainy off-season day, so almost no one around. Beautiful view.
Report Check-Innice view, cool old wrecks and ice fishing cabanes. fishing, but doesn't look successful
Report Check-InAs previously stated good quiet place to spend the night lots of local fishermen during the day stayed the night with three class a RV is without any problems
Report Check-InThis was a lovely spot.....there are slot-size Pike ( meaning you CAN'T keep them ) aplenty from the dock nearby.
We parked our 26 footer right at the shore and there was room for another smaller one beside us as well as room for 2 or 3 more behind.
Local people told me the ships have been dragged here to spend their final days...great backdrop for photos or simply to look at if, like me you are a ship-lover.
Al in all a lovely spot with room for perhaps 2 large RVs or 4 or 5 smaller class 'B's
Naturally no Wifi, potable water or bathrooms but perfect for the self-sufficient ones.
Stayed there for a night. Very quiet, dark and kinda eerie with the abandoned boats. Some local fishermen stayed there until about 11pm, then we had the place for ourselves. Great spot for bird watching!
Report Check-InSuper cool spot to spend an evening. Right on the water, eerie abandoned boats, and beautiful, bushes and bushes of raspberries. A few other campers shared the spot for a night but very quiet spot. Fresh water source.
Report Check-InStayed here last night. Beautiful spot. lots of nature. Seen pelicans, otters and tons of other birds. Very quiet. Would have loved to stay longer! Another family stayed here too. People were fishing on the dock and used the boat ramp. No one bothered us.
Report Check-InReally nice and quiet spot with plenty of space for any sized camper. Fishers in the evening and then some in the morning.
Report Check-InFriendly place near a boat ramp. Abandonned boats gave it an eery feel. Right on the lake, grassy spot for our tent. Locals fishing on the dock, but no one bothered us. Amazing sunrise, voracious mosquitoes, very quiet.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Like everywhere at this time, a lot of mosquitoes.. The rusty boats are stunning!
Report Check-Ingreat stop
were in a 38ft fifth wheel and plenty of room
fresh strawberries for sale in season at the farm opposite the turn before you cross the train tracks.
Fresh spring water available at the parking area from a black hose that you pull out from the top of the white tank. Lovely water, very cold and endless amount constantly flowing.
Great for a nights stay. People came for fishing in the evening and early in the morning to load boats but was fine and the fisherman were lovely. They let us know that there’s fresh water from the white tank on the yard all year round if you need to top up. We had lots of mosquitoes in the evening but put it down to time of year and heat.
Report Check-InNice quiet place by the lake. Boat graveyard was a bit weird at first but actually pretty neat. Lots of locals fishing; no one bothered us. Train at midnight and 7am but it did not bother us. Beware the mosquitos, bad place to find out you’ve got a breach.
Report Check-In... the place is quiet, but it’s not only a boat ramp, it is also a boat graveyard. We have to admit, the energy was a little strange.
Report Check-InGood place for an overnight stay. Beautiful scenery you can observe pelicans. But in our case fisherman and people who launched their boats came very early. Maybe because of Sunday. But nobody bothered about us.
Report Check-InParking lot for small boats at the end of a gravel road, where some people fish. easy to reach. Next to the lake. beautiful view and really quiet.
No no over night parking. We saw National park's guards and they said it was okay.
