Report Check-InNice large area to park and camp. We are in Rv- with slide outs, towing a trailer, and had plenty of room to park. VIP has many food options, but it is also very busy. Just truck stop noise, traffic on road dies down.
Report Check-InThis is a massive truck stop filled with the many trucks using Highway 2 from Baja and Highway 15 from Nogales to Mazatlan.
There are many parking spaces as the truck stop is an island and serves traffic in both directions on Highway 15.
We saw an Asian restaurant, a hamburger place and a Subway. There is a small park in the middle of the truck stop which has a toilet building (closed at ten pm) with no paper but it is cleaned, the toilets have seats and there is a basin with mirror.
The park has two covered picnic tables, a children’s playground a water faucet and trash cans. It’s a good spot for dog walking too.
We saw a WiFi signal from the main building with restaurants and the convenience store but did not use it. Telcel has a strong signal here.
The night watchman is busy parking the many trucks and may ask you to move to make room but he is totally professional.
It is obviously going to be noisy with traffic and trucks but if you can shut out the noise this is an excellent overnight stop 70 miles from Nogales snd 90 miles from Naco, the two closest ports of entry.

Gas station parking lot with very clean bathrooms open 24/7.
Can get a little noisy with the trucks .. good for a night.
