Nice Campground @ Escalante Petrified Forest State Park.
Quiet, Dog friendly.
Ask for Overflow Camping, if the Campground is full.
$25 for dry camping.
$30 for power and water.
$10 per vehicle for day use, showers $5 per person if you aren't camping

As has been said, very nice well kept campground. A couple of things I would mention. First the showers are amazing. As a tall person, having a shower head 8' high was great. The big bonus was having plenty of hot water (just lucky?)
The second thing is to be sure to take advantage of the trail up the hill to the Petrified Forest. There is a second relatively more strenuous short trail (Trail of Sleeping Rainbows) that takes you into a plethora of petrified tree parts scattered about. Very cool 2.25 mile hike from the parking lot.

It’s ok. The campground is super small and crowded especially with all the RVs and trailers…we have a 29ft RV and found it a little snug and tightly packed. Super beautiful views. There is ice and firewood for sale. Showers and restrooms. Tables, fire pit and electricity plug-in for rv

Report Check-InJust came to shower. You have to pay for the day use fee which is $10 includes the shower fee) Enjoy a short hike to the petrified wood and fill up your water bottles and tanks while you’re here. 8 min limit on the shower - it takes 10 minutes to reset. I didn’t even hit the limit

nice hot showers. overflow is same price as regular spots, wish it was a little cheaper since the overflow spots are so close to each other.
