Still a great spot to stay! There are actually in total 4 picnic places now along this dirt road. We stayed at the 3rd one, which also has running water. It was very nice to have a covered shelter, as it was very rainy. We stayed 3 nights and only saw one shepherd. As already mentioned, the internet is very unreliable, but we managed by putting one phone in a tree higher and use it as a hotspot for the iPad and other phone 😉

The picnick area is really nice, especially if you are with multiple people. some shepards come by and also 2 young soldiers with their Ak47 walked by at night, asking for cigarettes. Nobody seems to be bothered by us staying here. keep it clean
Very nice, clean place at a good distance to busy M2 with shade and trees to hang a hammock. I stayed at a spot 100m down the hill since the picknick spot was taken. Little traffic on the adjacent dirt road. I had no problems with 2wd.

Liked it that much that we stayed 2 nights and took a small hike in the surrounding.
Nice place next to a gravel road. There are two little picnic houses, with fresh water and bbq places. Almost no trash around 😊 keep it clean!
Report Check-InPath through village is narrow, also steep and tight turns in some places—overhanging trees, we’re a Troopy with 2.4m height, maybe the limit. Almost no trash at site —saw a lot of picnic litter a little downtown of site. Nice that people have kept this place tidy!
