Description

26 eastbound to hwy 216 eastbound. After mile marker 2 go north on Forest Service road 2130, toward Clear Creek Campground. Beautiful dispersed stop by Clear Creek, on left side just over culvert. Fire pit. We were curious if it was ok to camp here. Forest Service drove by twice and waved so must be cool.

BEAUTIFUL place. Nice fire pit, great hammock spots. Plenty of room for a few small cars or couple bigger camper vans.

DISCLAIMER & REMINDER : please please please clean up after yourself and leave it better than you found it. There were SEVERAL piles of shit and TP around and in the MIDDLE of the site. Disgusting. Please go bury your shit and pack your TP so others don’t have to live next to it. Much love and enjoy.

We showed up here in a Friday, but unfortunately a single large group had taken up the entire site. We ended up at SW Clear Lake shoreline further north on the 26.

absolutely beautiful creek in wooded campsite. down a paved road for ATVs.

Still open. Came in via Frog Creek Road from the Wapanitia Hwy and it was an easy asphalt single lane road all the way to the pull-off into the campsite. Great little place. No coverage but I roam with Freedom Mobile which I believe is AT&T. Had coverage less than a half mile before arriving at the site.

The place was just as described. It is 2.1 miles on the forest service Road off of 216. Has a great fire pit and no AT&T service. A beautiful iconic Northwest spot

Sweet spot to land. Fairly easy to get to late at night. The dirt road was easy enough, some big potholes on the concrete road off the highway getting there. There’s some tree overgrowth that would make it difficult with anything bigger than a truck camper to get through. Ours is 8’8” tall when driving and we fit just right through the tightest areas.

We followed the directions that the google maps link gave us and wound up at a nice dead end of the forestry road. We didn’t see a creek, but there was a fire pit, level ground long enough for several vehicles to park in a line. It was pretty quiet, although apparently not that far from the 26 - so we heard an occasional car/truck and sometimes a plane would fly over.
Great open space for getting sun/solar.

Had 2 bars service with Cricket, no service with T Mobile. Pretty clean spot - found quite a few bullet shells and a little trash that we packed out.

We explored the area a bit during the day when we were leaving, found some other nice spots along the other fork, mostly places that were right along the roadside. We didn’t see anyone else for the two days we were out there.
