Easiest vehicle access is from the obvious track from the south side, near the edge of the vineyards. There is also a rocky 4x4 track from the wild camping spot to the north listed on here.
If you park at the camping spot and walk up one track and down the other, then walk back along the road (or, even better, scramble along the bottom of the cliff :D ), it's a nice loop of a few km. A great place to stretch the legs.
Absolutely beautiful viewpoint, worth the little detour, 4x4 needed.
It would make a nice wild camping spot.
