Stayed overnight at the Snopark, displayed permit. Pit toilets open, lot plowed with 1"-2" of remaining snow. There were two other vans and one schoolie, but the spot was quiet all night.
Report Check-InThis place is so beautiful. The sign states that it is permitted to overnight here.
Report Check-InLarge peaceful parking area in beautiful surroundings, arrived at 2230 easy to find and plenty of space, 1 other overnighter, intermittent road noise, no ATT service
Report Check-InLovely spot with amazing views of lake and mountains. Other vans and one RV. Highway Patrol drove in around 7:30 am but didn’ t come by. Would recommend!
Report Check-InPulling into Blue Lakes Rd there is a no overnight camping sign. It is unclear if that is for the road or for Hope Valley Sno-Park in general. It also said permits required for winter. Didn’t want to take chances and kept looking for somewhere else to stay the night.
Report Check-InMany campers, even while most of the forrest is closed due to fire danger. No problems.
NO AT&T service in this entire area, even though a friend that was here around April said there was.
Perfect parking lot. Plenty of space. Felt safe. Quiet. Really close (25 minutes) from South Lake Tahoe
