Nice place. Probably the best coming from Tahua, at the northern exit of Salar de Uyuni. Clean, warm, comfortable. Great meals, both dinner and breakfast. 200 bs for a matrimoniale with private bathroom. Same price for a double. Nice owners. Hugo’s phone number: 72310134 / [email protected]

Very nice and cozy eco hotel! Beautifully built. Showers luke warm for me but no problem. Everything very clean - was walking around barefoot a couple of hours and didnt even had dirty feet. Super friendly owner, Hugo, which I had dinner with as I was the only guest. Always a bit heart-breaking to be the only guest in such beautiful places where they are still waiting for pre-pandemic tourist levels. Make sure to give him a visit when in town! Paid 50 for the room with shared bath + 25 for dinner.

Lovely place to stay in Salinas. 50Bs per person for a nice bedroom with shared bathroom. We were allowed to use to kitchen to cook in as there were no other guests. Friendly owner.

We stayed two nights at Suk'Arani (double room for 50bs/pp) and it was a very positive experience. The place is very spacious, cosy and has a great view on the town, Salar and volcano. The owner is very friendly and open for a talk (about the region, routes,...). There's the possibility for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed two delicious cenas prepared by the owner (20bs/pp).

Report Check-In

Bad service, unfriendly people and unpleasant experience.

Apparently nice place, but not the most hospitable or comfortable place. We stayed for about a week for a personal matter, we paid after bargaining 40 bs. per person per night. The room was very cold and they had no heating, ok we adapted but.... At night you can't take a shower, they say that going upstairs to turn on the heater is "very dark and cold", ok you adapt, but.... In addition, on two occasions in the afternoon we had to take showers with a bucket of water. The first time we accepted, the second time we made an effort, but when we complained the third time they told us that they ran out of gas for the shower and that they didn't want to buy it because it was too expensive in the nearby store, and they didn't accept to use the gas bottle that the administrator had in the kitchen. If you want them to give you a garbage bag... bad faces and little desire. The surprise was that the owner came and also told us that the gas bottle in town was expensive and they would wait a couple of days to bring a cheaper one (we are talking about half a dollar more expensive) Can you imagine a restaurant where you pay for an omelet with salad and they don't bring you the omelet arguing that the egg today was a little more expensive in the market? Surrealistic.... The most unfortunate was the last day, they were rude. Especially Mrs. Martha who manages the place. In response to our complaints she said "that I had already been there a few years ago and that I knew what I was getting into" when I had never been there and didn't even know the place... but she insisted and called me a liar. Stunned by the surrealism, we told her to take out the log book to prove it and that's when she got trapped and had to apologize. Bad experience, we do not recommend it.

still 50 pp with a breakfast. The owner gave me a bucket and a brush to clean my bike from salt. Also treated me with herbal tea. The shower is quite poor and it was impossible to insert any power adapter to power socket. But the place is very clean and cosy

such a nice place! very clean and the owner is very helpful. if you come to the Salinas stay here!

Report Check-In

The hostel is a very good place to relax. Wi-Fi is weak and only available in the evening. The water is very warm when you ask for heating. In the building you can not cook, the owner ordered to go outside with the stove. We got a hot water thermos for our own use.

The owner in a very convincing way provides information about the area. Be careful! His information may be old and imprecise. His advice about crossing the Salar de Coipasa was far from real

no wifi, no heat it takes an hour to get the hot water hot. I don't recommend this place.

Great place. Price is still 50 BOB per person inside (individual, matrimonial or triple) or 150 per person in a private cabaña. Set dinner 20 BOB per person. Breakfast (basic) included. Now has wifi. Allows pets - our friend had a small dog with her. Lots of parking. They need 45min-1 hour warning before you shower to turn heating on, otherwise it's super cold! Very friendly. Short walk into the village and people were really friendly to. Highly recommended.
