Perfect place to stay near río celeste as there are no many other places. Free and safe, very quiet night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We spent the night here before we visited Rio Celeste. Ideal for getting to the national park quickly in the morning. Nothing special, but flat and big enough for all sizes of vehicles. There is hardly any traffic on the road at night, but you can hear the cell phone base station all night long.

Report Check-InVery cool and quiet place to spend the night next to Rio Celeste 10km aprox from the national park. This place is located between and public park and a big mobile antenna. The park has children playground and a big soccer field, as well tables and benchs under some roof for shadow and rain protection. We arrived around 4pm and only 2 cars were there after dark we were alone. Only the police pass by a couple of time after that. Some noice from the main road since is less than 100m away. But again after dark some occasionall trucks. Very recommended. (see pics)
Report Check-Inwe forgot.... we found a faucet... good pressure and the locals said is potable water. If you can't see the picture is located next to the antenna fence.
Report Check-Inin the parking lot for a park. in view of some houses. they don't have fences around their well kept houses so I am assuming it's fairly safe here. some noise from the cell tower and road, and night time park users (including kids and quiet adults). fairly flat. has a water spigot/tap
Report Check-InPark on a level gravel area behind the cell phone tower. Safe and quiet at night.
