Still a really great spot to wild camp. A few locals and kids greeted us as they walked by. Quite a bit of rubbish on the ground but still lovely and lots of bird life. We camped at the beginning of the rains and no issue with our big truck. Econet 4G.

the access road is a bit narrow because of the bushes, but if you don't care about scratches....No problem.

excellent spot, flat grassy ground by the dam. road is good to get there, a bit narrow between the trees but we easily managed to go throw with our big campervan. few fishermans and people from the village nearby passing by but all very friendly. quite clean and wonderfull view

Report Check-InWe passed a quiet night in our RTT. Some trash and lots of cow poop but the view of the lake is nice. Lots of birds. A few people passed; all very friendly. There was a police stop on the main road just as we exited. He asked how our night at the dam was and wished us a good day. No issues.
