The palapa & the vibes are still here (:

Report Check-In

Safe place. Nice view. Very quiet. In the morning just a couple of fishermen. Unfortunately quite a lot of trash. Mosquitos and bugs are a mess, so many you need to keep everything shut from sunset till sunrise. No facilities.

Report Check-In

Yes the reel good spot. Turtle nest Beach we see them very large by evening.

Report Check-In

Yup, as described by other posts. Palapa still intact and now with large tree trunks for seats. Hammocks feel sturdy when hanging from palapa. Quiet and dark at night. Mosquitoes. Food and potable water available in town nearby. I think if we all cleaned a trashbag’s worth out of here, it would be pristine. Scenery opposite to the beach is also Van Gogh-like picturesque! We stayed for 3 nights, driving a RAV4, 2WD, rooftop tent.

Beautiful spot, nice and quiet and no one around. We could have spent more time here if we had more supplies, no shade only from small palapa.

This spot is awesome! So nice an quiet. And for free. But please, take care of it if you stay there. Bring some big bags with you to pick up trash, because there are lot of trash!

Nice little empty lot right on the beach. Small palapa. This area is very remote. There are cows grazing across the road and I saw some horses on the road so do be sure if you have a dog that you don't let it bother them and also drive carefully. A local man stopped by and commented about my dogs and I think that was his concern about past campers. A family also stopped by to chat with me. Otherwise no issues and great spot if miles of empty beach, sand and surf are your thing 😍.

Report Check-In

Yep, we stayed here for a night and was great. Some bugs during the night and mild waves for surfing.

Many vacant lots as described and we weren't bothered at all, only a few vehiclea drove by...but also as described, many many many bugs! Also quite a lot of rubbish on the beach and in the lots. Free and fine for a night for sure tho.

Report Check-In

Found an empty piece of land next to the marine military outpost. They told us it was safe and we could camp there overnight. No one around, beach to ourselves but many many mosquitoes.

Report Check-In

Awesome boondocking spot. Plenty of room. No one around. Spoke to a German who's been living here for 20 years, said it was very safe and no crime from the cartels here.
