Place at the side of the road in an old gravel pit - super windshelter (sleep in a rooftent and did not feel any wind) safe to lit a fire, clean (please help to keep it that way), a little tricky to level out the car. Also for big rigs. (We wanted to stay in the place further down at the lighthouse but unfortunately it was occupaid by a local fisherman)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No change bit rocky but ample room to get out of wind and level. Can sit on top of rubble and look at Beagle Channel and also possible to get thru the trees and sit up on the coastline looking at Antartica cruise ships going by quite close as well as a lonely seal resting on a rock below 3 or 4 cars went past heading back to. highway and they would have seen us but only when they were quite close
