This area was great to park for a night, but the train passed by a few times and it’s loud. You can stay for 72 hours, there is a park, water and dump station, and portapotties.

great overnight (72 hour max) place. can be busy at times as the fields are used for soccer. port o potties are the cleanest I've ever used, very well maintained. short walk to downtown and quick drive to Kootenai wildlife refuge.

72 hour parking, dump station as well. Just follow signs in town to the Boundary County Fairgrounds.
Nice spot, level. Town pleasant and walkable.

Signs say 72 hour parking. A gravel lot with some porta potties, garbage cans, and a dump station. There's also tennis courts and a rudimentary skatepark. easily within walking distance to the "downtown" where there's a few restaurants and a small brewery.

The nearby wildlife refuge is a nice, mostly quiet place to hike, bike or just sit and relax.

I ended up in town during the Boundary County Fair. It was small but had some nice exhibits and food. Once the parking lot cleared out I moved over by the tennis courts on the north side. It was a quiet night besides one train around 3:00AM

nice park to stop for the night. bathrooms were closed but there were porta potties. trains were a little loud and constant throughout the night but still not a bad spot for a night. there was only one other overnighter with us

Report Check-In

great spot to boondock! Huge grassy areas for dog to run. Can easily accommodate any size rig. Along train tracks but noise didn't bother us. We stayed one night but can stay 3. Dump station close and bathrooms but we didn't use either. Wish all 'freebie' spots were as nice.

Report Check-In

Gravel lot by the rv dump is right next to the tracks. There’s a smaller lot on the other side of the fairgrounds.

Went to casino first- it was really loud with the train right next to it. Came to the fair grounds and it was much more relaxing. Free for 72 hours and free dump.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay overnight. Google maps doesn't show an easy way from the main road for some reason but it is easy to get to from near the bridge at the northern end of town.
