Description
Hotel close to the border. We asked if we could camp in their backyard, and they didn't mind. Nice flat grassy area perfect for pitching tents. Paid 10.000 pppn.
Single rooms are 58.000pppn.
Squat toilets next to campsite. The compound is secure and guarded, lots of parking space for campers also.
WiFi included.

Not a warm welcome for us at all. We parked our car with RTT in the parking lot as discussed with the staff. No room for shower was included. Then the owner came and told us we could not park in the parking lot and had to move to the back. She was very angry and not nice at all. She said that the hostel was just kind to offer a place and a shower but we said we were not even offered a shower. She even told us we did not have to come back at all even though we did nothing wrong?! So not a nice place for us. Dirty drop toilets in the yard full with cockroaches at night. Maybe it is okay if you have a tent to pitch it in the garden or when you take a room (or when this unfriendly owner is not around). Otherwise not recommended.
Report Check-InWe just arrived here after an intensive border crossing proces. Camping on parking area: 20.000 per night total.
Report Check-InAs described, A very welcome place to stay the night before\after crossing the border. 10,000 ugs pppn for parking in your truck. They connected us to power from one of the rooms. WiFi is OK when is available.
Report Check-InIf you need a place for the night in Busia, go to Jireh Guest House. Very friendly owner and staff. For 10000 Schilling you can park and sleep in your car. We had a nice meal and they opened a room for hot shower.
Report Check-InYou can only pitch a tent on the lawn. By car you can stay on the parking if's not occupied.
Toilets on the lawn are dirty but for 10000UGX they open a room for you where you can use the bathroom (hot shower).
They want you to have dinner with them if you only camp which is quite fair in my opinion. Breakfast was not available.
It's rather noisy but OK for a night before/after border crossing.
