Absolutely perfect, what a find. Couple neighbors just enjoying the peace and quiet. Pin will not take you here! Take the forest road for W Lake for about 10 min

Lovely spot right next to river. Rough road to get to the site, took us 20 mins in our minivan. Seems to be a popular spot, camped with 3 others. 6 camp spots in total.

A beautiful free lakeside campsite. I think only about 5 or 6 spots. Room for tents and bigger rigs. Very quiet and peaceful. With the heat spell, the Lake was like bathwater. I stayed two nights.

Good free camp with drop toilet, fire pits and some benches. Road is pretty bumpy but we did it with our van. Some people with generators but quite at night.

Nice lake. Not a big place, spent one night but decided to move on to where hunters wouldn’t be skinning their prize.

Beautiful rec site right on the lake. There’s 6 spots with picnic tables, 1 pit bathroom, no cell service. Really quiet out there. We spent two nights and the first night not all sites were full but the second night it was full by the evening. Lake is swimmable and really clear.

Great spot on a lake! Saw fish jumping and there’s a dock that would be good for canoeing! Met a friendly guy here who told me about some great spots around the northern island!

beautiful spot, has about 6 sites. is on a portage route so a handful of canoeing groups come thru doing the day. only 3 km off the highway, road is well maintained.

perfect established and free camping by the lake. super clean. firepitd, picnic tables and toilets

Looks like they dug a big trench in the middle of the road on the way to the rec site, you could likely make it with a high clearance truck but no motorhomes will make it back to the rec site until they fill it back in :(

A few pullouts on the way out to the trench but nothing special
