Fine. Good for catching the sunrise in the park. Little Prius didnt want to go beyond the main pullout since arriving in the dark. Street sweepers(?) went by twice during the wee hours, other than that all cars clear out by an hour past sunset.

We stayed here April 3-7, 2021 while visiting Valley of Fire State Park.

I want to note that two of the photos in his collection are not of this location. The two photos showing multiple vehicles on a long straight dirt road are from a dispersed camping location further to the west, probably at 36.441105, -114.674294.

This specific spot is down a short 2wd dirt road and over a small hill. 4wd is probably good to have for the hill, especially if you are pulling a trailer.

There are two spots above this location on opposite knolls and three other spots along the 2wd road before the small hill.

This was a nice spot. Not the greatest views as views to the west is partially blocked by the knoll. But easy to get into and out of when visiting Valley of Fire State Park.

Such a wonderful place to set up camp! Nice, secluded spot...no issues getting to in a Jeep and a Ford Explorer pulling a small cargo trailer carrying a rooftop tent. Kids had a great time riding bikes and exploring.

Very quiet and calm with lots of room.
Really nice sunrise 🌄.

Nicely set back from the road. Arrived in the dark, but easily doable with 4x4 in the dark.

Pulled in well after dark on a Friday night. Still tons of space. Great starting point for Valley if Fire. Water and dump station are available inside the Park.

There are a couple sites closer to the park, but they were way smaller. This place is huge

Report Check-In

Parking just off road, flat and really quiet with amazing view on the stars.

Report Check-In

Pull out just off the main road... there were a few other RVs here. Close to the road but traffic dies down after the park closes at 7pm. 2WD just fine.
