Something not right?

Description

2 Refugios: a fancy new one with a table, a bench and room for 4 people to sleep on the floor and a very basic old one with an earth ground.
The new one's locker is broken, it's open now.
Nicely sheltered place for cyclists.
Make sure to bring water.

Nice place, it was very clean. We were in two and stayed at the new hut. No water though. Weather was bad, so it was a a great stop on the way to Punta Arenas.

Lovely warm and sheltered break from the miserable wind. Old shelter is unusable now, new shelter is still completely clean. Outdoor toilet was quite disgusting though.

Report Check-In

Shelter in good conditon. One bench and a table. There was no broom, we cleaned up after us with a piece of cardboard. Dry toilet outside.

Report Check-In

This is still in great condition thankfully though with only a table and chair, no electricity or water. Still a nice refuge fairly well insulated. If heading south you need to go past the refugio and come back on yourself to access it. Heading north you may not see it until you are passed so be on the watch for it.

Great little hut. exactly as described in the previous comments

Nice Refugio, as described. However, it's about 500m north of the location on the app. Going south it's on your right, and 20m below road level. The entrance road is where the marker is, but you can walk down from the road.

Report Check-In

As described, nice little refugio, tucked away from the road. The outhouse is "rustic", but does the job. There was no power when we were there, but good Entel and some Claro connectivity.

Report Check-In

Nice place to sleep, very clean refugio, place for 4 persons inside , protected form the wind, table inside and dry toilets outside

Report Check-In

The refuge is still open but everything is brocken inside exept the table. We slept in our tent next to the refuge. It’s good shelter against wind to cook and eat.

Report Check-In

The refugio is open (Somebody broke the locker), we were 4 and slept there. It's still quite clean and very good for one night. Only problem, no source of water. Lucky us it was raining, we collected water from the gutter.

Report Check-In

no more electricity..solar panels might have been stolen ...
