turn left off of 618 and immediately on the right. backed up a 24 ft trailer in the spot no problem, no highway noise. beautiful skies and fire pit
Report Check-Innice spot and got a good night's sleep but the ranger in the morning patrol informed me that this space is off limits to motor vehicles for vegetation restoration. there is a small sign but it is easy to miss. there is a small space immediately on the right as you leave 618 that is ok.
Report Check-InVery quiet and secluded spot with a great view and excellent cell reception.
Report Check-InFound 4 good campsites one was open. Campfire pit. Beautiful views. Also found nice hike off the road. Some sits good for tents, some sites good for truck camper and trailer.
Good remote camping. Free. Beautiful.
I camped beside the road but I walked back a short ways and there's three or four really great campsites just off the road which I really nice as well.
Report Check-InEnter the Road 9201C which goes to the Walker Basin TH and continue for approx. 500 Meter. On the left is a very nice spot with a tree for shade and an existing firering. Completely quiet at night ecept for the houling of some coyotes. We even had AT&T connection
Report Check-InNice quiet spot a handful of miles (5?) from I-17. Nice views in all directions of mountains, colorful cliffs and the landscape. No one around. :)
I could get my 24' trailer in to it. No big rigs though.
