We thought this was an excellent hostal. Price for large double room with private bath - CLP 48,000. Some have suggested this price is a little high, but Ancud in summer offers few cheap options. This hostel was clean and well-located. It had great shared, kitchen, dining and lounge rooms. The owners were very nice and helpful and it has secure, off-street parking for a number of vehicles (a large overlander might even squeeze in).
Report Check-InWe stayed here with our two young boys. It was very nice and simple hostel. Another facility was there with similar aged kids.
No breakfast, decent wifi, close to ATM and restaurants. Big backyard for kids to run. One of the workers spoke decent English. Very nice staff. They did laundry for 3500 per kilo, we thought that was a little expensive. My family is four had a private room for 55.000
Price are a but upper :9000pesos is the cheapest one in the 7bed dormitory and without breakfast, you can add breakfast for 3000pesos. But the place is very pleasant, if it good weather you can even be in the garden with hamac. The kitchen is well furnished and hoven is working. Bed are really confortable, all very clean :)
Report Check-Innice staff who explain everything to you. 10.000 per night in a dorm breakfast included (bred (just 1 if you don't ask for more), cheese if it's still available and marmalade), coffee and tea all the time. my 6 bed room had a private bathroom, not sure if it's in all the rooms.

The only thing is my husband is 6'3" AND the ceiling in the bathroom is 6' and in the s169hower even shorter.
