bon hostel sympathique, cuisine bien équipée. salon avec TV, douches bien chaudes, lits confortables. 30$ la nuit. pas loin du port à pied pour déposer son véhicule. toit terrasse avec belle vue sur le port. proche centre ville à pied. très bonne connexion internet, je recommande. il faut sonner au digicode à droite de la grande porte. quelqu'un vient vous ouvrir. rien n'est écrit de l'extérieur. j'ai pu dormir aussi 2 nuits dans la rue juste devant avant de déposer mon fourgon au port. endroit calme la nuit. on peut même capter le wifi dans la rue.

Nice, friendly, and inexpensive hostel in the Old City part of Montevideo. My room with a double bed, no ac and a shared bathroom was $30usd/night. Parking is one block away on the same street.

probably the best value in this range of price in the old montevideo. just in front of the port if you like to see unloading of cargoships.

We prefer to call it guesthouse rather than hotel, but it's a really good one. Nice old building with high ceilings, clean bathroom, wifi and well furnished kitchen. It's a good value for money, perfect for short-term stay in Montevideo. There are a couple of secured parkings nearby.

This is a great little hostel, very relaxed but very well run by Luis from Venezuela. Really recommended, $45 per night for a double room.

Nice & very clean Hostel in old town, close to ferry. No breakfast included, but a very well equipped kitchen & fridge. Great rooftop terrace. It is possible to park motorbikes in the entrance, for cars there is a parking 1 block down the street which seems to be high enough. We paid around 40 US$/night for a double room.
