Very nice campground at the lake. Good mountain views. Sheltered camping in the forest with views.

Report Check-InBeautiful campground at the lake. There's plenty of space to build up your tent, with a bit of privacy and wind shelter. Showers are hot (open from 4pm to 9pm). The reception sells also food and drinks. No WiFi.
Report Check-InThe campsite is beautifully situated on the side of a lake. The refugio has showers (warm water from 4-9 pm), a very nice enclosed cooking room (with two washing sinks) and a store that sells essentials. Due to many common areas, the refugio has a run hostel vibe. You can camp in the forest area to get some shelter from the wind.

Report Check-InStunning location and excellent campsite with plenty of spots to shelter from the wind. A really nice common cooking area (enclosed building) right next to hot showers and bathroom.
Report Check-InAt 6000 pesos this is much better value than the Fantastico Sur sites. Nice new building with a communal dining room and plug sockets. New showers not working yet. Old showers outside vile (dirty floor, pitch black, cold water and nowhere to get changed). Well stocked little mini market with staples like pasta and sauce plus the usual snack food. Also batteries, toiletries, tent pegs and various other useful items. Make sure you leave early if you’re skipping Perros and going straight from here to Paso, the CONAF guys won’t let you leave Perros after 10am. I left Dickson at 5am and was at Paso by 1.30pm.
