Big Walmart, new, we spent a night here, it was quiet, more than we thought
If you look at the Walmart locator, don't trust their information, it is outdated, we've been to two other Walmarts, with no success.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Was told “No Overnight Parking” by both customer service and the security patrol.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Stayed here from the 2nd-the5th. Came for the balloon fiesta and didn’t experience a lot of traffic. There were a bunch of people who stayed one to two nights while there. The Walgreens played very loud carnival music but it didn’t effect our sleep as we have two fans running. We left our generator and other items locked up to our trailer as we worked and it wasn’t touched at all. There was security and they never bothered us. Road noise was decent, but again didn’t bother us. Would stay again!
Report Check-InWe called customer service to make sure it was okay to spend the night here. They said it was fine, no longer than 24 hours and to park in the west side of the lot (near Walgreens). Nice area of Albuquerque, felt pretty safe, the road noise was pretty loud as one would probably expect.
Report Check-Inplease ignore the post before. We did not go to this Walmart it was a different one that actually allowed parking.
Report Check-InWe stayed here our first night in Albuquerque. We called ahead and they said they allowed overnight parking towards the street next to Walgreens. there was one other camper van in the lot as well. We did leave early in the morning as there was a police officer who was clearly checking the vans out (our van and the other van in the lot were both white cargo vans).. It was noisy as most parking lots are but was fine for an overnight.
Report Check-InAsked Customer Service if we could stay; she shared that they no longer allow overnight parking and suggested Cracker Barrel instead.
Report Check-Inasked management to confirm overnight. they said 24 hours and to park in the back near party city. quiet night.
Report Check-InMy mom and I in two separate vans got kicked out. There is a security guard here now. Maybe were parked in the wrong section ???? Anyways we went to crakel barrel instead.
Report Check-InOvernight okay. Covid-19 store hours 7:30am-8:30pm. Must wear mask to enter store. Park behind Party Time Store. Some car noise.
Report Check-InCalled and was told it was ok to overnight. several others overnighting. Lot a bit slanted, but we were able to find a decent spot. A bit noisy.
Report Check-InAsked management- aloud to stay one night, no more. Park close to road.
Very busy area.
Small dog park 1/2 mile away, in the mall parking lot.
The ONLY Walmart in Albuquerque that’s allows overnight. Park near party city.
Report Check-InHuge lot, lots of shopping/ eating park close to party city several trucks parked beside us.
Report Check-InVery quiet parkinglot, only Little city noise from far. Friendly staff, more RV’s for overnight. All the other shops and restaurants nearby. Felt Very safe!
